As the natural state of humanity, embodiment involves the constitution of a unified person who is both immaterial soul and material body. Thus, your body is just as valuable as your soul. Christians have often misunderstood embodiment and elevated the soul while neglecting or even denigrating the body. Forsaken Body exists to counter this misconception. Treating the body well - in a way that honors God - truly begins with thinking well of the body.
